**Position Description**:
The Clinical Research Project Assistant works closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator, Manager and/or Principal Investigator to assist in study operations. This position includes many of the basic tasks of the clinical research process, such as entering data, conducting literature searches, etc.

**Here’s What You’ll Get To Do**
- Prepare study case report forms and assemble packages of questionnaires
- Assist with advance preparation for audits and site visits
- Perform data management including checking data for accuracy and completeness, scoring data, entering data and data cleaning
- Obtain informed consent for study participation
- Conduct telephone follow-up questionnaire
- Conduct health chart reviews
- Conduct literature search when needed
- Assist with other study tasks

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- Post-secondary degree in sciences, social sciences or a health related discipline
- Previous research experience is preferred
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet and MEDLINE searches)

**Employment Type**
- 1 year contract, modified benefits (i.e. health and dental)
- 0.5 FTE - must be available on site when the sickle cell clinic is running (3 days a week - Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays)
- Pay will be in line with experience
