**Account Manager - Business Development**
**Cigo Tracker is looking to hire a Business Developer to join our growing team.**
Based in Montreal, Quebec, Cigo Tracker is a web service for logistics, routing, and delivery management. Our intuitive web dashboards and smartphone app offer route optimization, real-time tracking, and other customer management tools to improve operational efficiencies in small, medium, and large enterprises. Our goal is to streamline the cumbersome process of delivering and distributing goods and empower businesses to improve their internal operations while providing a higher standard of customer service.
**About the role**
As a Business Developer, you will be responsible to promote Cigo’s platform to retailers and Last-Mile Logistics companies, specifically, to Small, Medium, and Enterprise businesses. You’ll be expected to derive creative solutions, share constructive criticism, and develop long-lasting business relationships.
Backed with a clear business plan, your role consists of generating sales through prospecting activities through networking, cold calling, and customer references. You are encouraged to develop your own business relationships by building a solid network to your image.
**Your day-to-day**:
- Generate your own appointments and/or business opportunities
- Generate sales through telephone prospecting and visits to potential customers
- Evaluate customer needs and identify new opportunities
- Promote our platform and solutions to our customers
- Perform any other tasks assigned to you by your sales manager
**Training and experience**:
- Relevant experience in sales of SAAS platforms
- Comfortable with the use of technology
- Experience of sales in the logistics industry (a great asset)
- Ability to work with predetermined goals and sales targets
- Ability to attract prospects
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset
- Proficiency of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- High School diploma or higher, and a minimum of 3 years experience in a full-time sales position
