Assistant Store Manager

**JOB DUTIES**:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided by all staff members
- Train and develop new employees on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Assist in recruiting and hiring new team members
- Manage and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate for timely replenishment
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage a team effectively
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of training development techniques
- Familiarity with store management best practices
- Proficient in using POS systems for sales transactions
- Understanding of market trends and sales management strategies
- Experience with payroll management and budgeting

**Education**:
- Secondary School (required)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
