Position: Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Paris, ON

Status: Full Time

What you can expect:

- Delivers exceptional care and value to each of our customers
- Works to be a high functioning and contributing team member ready to step in where needed
- Accurately and efficiently assists to fill and label blister packs - Completes cashier duties
- Communicates and coordinates with third party insurance and billing system/ processes
- Answers telephones and takes messages for new prescriptions, patient refill requests, and other pharmacy related business
- Assists in the inventory, display and upkeep of retail and front shop operations - Promotes and maintains a clean and tidy merchandise display
- Accurately and efficiently completes sales transactions, and processes merchandise information through a computer and point of sale system
- Promotes and works to ensure a safe and healthy work environment

- Ability to communicate with other healthcare professionals in a professional, businesslike manner
- Familiarity with pharmacy software/billing systems
- Proficient written and oral communication

Full-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Benefits: - Store discount

Schedule: - 6-8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday (alternate weekend if required)

Experience: - Community Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
- Kroll: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
