**Purpose**
Contributes to the overall success of the IT Team, Tangerine Bank, in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted, comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

**Accountabilities**

The Manager, Contract Management will work closely with the Tangerine IT management team to facilitate, maintain and support overall vendor performance, annual outsourcing reviews, monitor operational expenses related to vendor relationships and evaluate opportunities to find business / contractual efficiencies to drive scalability.
- Support vendor management priorities for the Tangerine IT team including contract management, performance management, risk management, cost management and compliance management.
- Effectively communicate a clear and concise contract overview (summary of key contract terms, risks, opportunities and service delivery guidelines) to key stakeholders, and provide clarity on contract elements when required
- Be responsible for ensuring that pricing is competitive by commissioning benchmarks as needed during the lifetime of the deal and participate in negotiating concessions from vendors
- Conduct periodic business reviews in collaboration with Global Procurement Services to ensure delivery against objectives and contract budgets.
- Develop regular reports on contract milestones, execution and risk. Inform stakeholders on management of activities and progress through regular written and verbal communication
- Monitor monthly vendor spend against financial plan, project portfolio, Capex / Opex
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external third parties to optimize IT expenditure, increase velocity and value realization, while mitigating supply and regulatory related risks
- Provides strategic guidance to business / functional leaders to ensure escalated concerns are appropriately managed
- Support consistent IT governance standards to ensure all arrangements are aligned to IT business objectives including effective and efficient use of IT resources
- Complete /support Third Party Risk Assessments for all critical vendors including contracts, performance, relationship per third party risk management guidelines
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; strong proficiency with Excel
- Excellent PowerPoint skills; confident communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and gain buy in
- University degree or related financial services experiences (5 years+)
- Vendor relationship management experience (3 years+)
- Knowledge of procurement & vendor management practices
- Third Party Risk Management experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects through effective prioritization
- Strategic thinker with strong critical thinking, problem resolution skills
- Strong team player, relationship builder
- Confident facilitator with a senior audience
- Results focused
