Brampton, Canada Forever Green Lawn & Landscape Inc. Full time

Responsibilities: Bookkeeping:

- Handles all aspects of accounts payable (A/P): entering approved payables, processing checks, and mailing accordingly.
- Handles some aspects of general ledger (G/L)
- Verifies and compiles deposits and enters accordingly after taking deposits to the bank.
- Files invoices with processed checks to maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
- Provide financial reports as requested by the owner or CPA.
- Assists with annual audit.
- Submits documents for HST, Payroll remittances and WSIB.
- Ensures accounts are paid in a timely manner.

Administrative:

- Weekly pick up of mail at the Post Office
- Answering incoming phone calls and screens calls
- Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized and reorder as necessary
- Drafts correspondence as requested.
- Other duties as required by Owner, senior bookkeeper, or accountant.

Experience & Skills:

- Must be able to work effectively in a very fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organization skills and very detail oriented.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and QuickBooks

Hours:

- Full Time, hourly, with somewhat flexible start times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (required)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
