Business Development Representative

**The Opportunity**
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Responsible for delivering a Category of One experience to our prospects by harvesting new leads and sales opportunities through outbound lead generation efforts in your assigned territory. You will also be responsible for qualifying inbound leads as they come in through our various channels (Ex. Website, Sales Line, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Generating leads through a variety of methods from online research, networking, industry events and leveraging existing contacts.
- Building relationships with prospects, industry professionals and other stakeholders to foster business growth.
- Maintaining a detailed knowledge of our service and product offering.
- Developing and delivering presentations to prospects that communicates our value proposition and how it aligns to their business needs.
- Generating opportunities through TLC Solutions qualification process and to hand opportunities to the Business Development Leader, aligning with TLC Solutions’ Revenue Growth Model
Qualifications & Experience
- Entrepreneurial in their mindset and able to grow a territory from the ground up
- A confident self-starter, who is able to see the big picture then take initiative
- A proactive hands-on learner, that will roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
- A creative collaborator who will actively engage other teams to develop innovative solutions
- A strategic thinker who can maintain a positive attitude and outlook that adds to our already thriving positive culture
- An excellent communicator with a capability to manage and prioritize competing priorities.
- Committed to developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships with all levels in the organization
- Legally able to work in Canada
- 3-5 years experience selling solutions related to technology to C-suite/Business Owners
- An Undergraduate degree or diploma, with preference for Sales and Marketing specialization
- A valid driver’s license
- Valid passport and free to travel internationally
- Clean driving record and ability to produce a drivers abstract and claims history letter
In addition to qualifications above, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience selling into the Food & Beverage and Manufacturing market sectors
- Experience using Autotask ticketing system and CRM
