The information Technology (IT) department is accountable for the delivery of IT services that drives the Toro Group of Business systems. The IT department supports the organization in these critical areas:
- End-User Technical Support
- Desktop Management
- Network Management
- Cybersecurity Risk Mitigation
- Voice and Data Communications
- Business Intelligence and Web Applications
- Strategic Technical Planning
What It Takes to Join The Toro IT Team
The technical skills discussions will come after. What we want to know first is what does exceed internal client’s customer service expectation and owning a project mean to you? How do you do this?
- Participate in operational and business-critical projects through the scoping, planning, execution, and implementation
- Analyze service incidents and problems, identify risks, provide recommendations, and implement solutions
- Formally document change requests and manage the changes
- A willingness to learn new technologies while working in a fast-changing environment
- Develop and maintain network management procedures including the documentation for daily operational support
- Performs failure/root cause analysis during the problem resolution process
- Build positive working relationships with internal clients and vendors
**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:
- Provide first and second-level support to all Toro Group employees with respect to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Following the “Fresh Service” Ticket Management Process, create, triage, and respond to tickets; escalating to more senior team members when needed.
- Respond to calls and incidents, logging them in the “Fresh Service” ticketing system following established procedures and within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Regularly monitor service desk for urgent tickets and tickets exceeding SLAs, and respond to/inform appropriate parties for resolution in a timely manner.
- Install and configure end-user devices and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software for remote and on-site employees.
- Proven ability to write concise, detailed technical documentation of systems configuration, processes, and change management for internal IT use and end-user training purposes
- Support the IT team on projects and other related duties as required.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO OUR TEAM**: - Post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus in computer science or related discipline. - Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. - Build, manage and support system services including Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, MS teams, Workspace One MDM, and other industry-standard tools - Fundamental understanding of networking: LAN/WAN, TCP/UDP, IP, DNS, DHCP, and general internet technologies (e.g. HTTP, FTP, SSH, SSL/TLS). - Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell. - Understanding in system architecture, design, configuration, disaster recovery, business continuity, storage management, and performance monitoring - Familiarity with VMWare virtual infrastructures - Familiarity with SQL, and SQL reporting services would be an asset - Excellent troubleshooting skills. - Evidence-based decision-making skills and prioritization skills - Clear and effective verbal and written communication
