Position: Network Analyst (4 Month Contract)
We-re looking for a collaborative Network Analyst to support our team with designing, installing, maintaining and supporting the LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructure at Longo-s. You will have the opportunity to govern the voice and data network systems company-wide including our Data Centers, Support Centre, Stores and Grocery Gateway. You will also provide architectural guidance, create and maintain network documentation, maintain hardware and software standards, provide recommendations to improve networks.
What you’ll do:
- Design, support, and develop redundant architecture
- Configuration and management of Cisco core network and the Cisco Unified Call Manager
- Experienced in Cisco ASA Firewalls and FTDs implementation, hardening and Pen Testing
- Network Security Engineering by developing and enforcing policies
- Perform Disaster Recovery Planning and testing of network related resources
- Provide high-level technical support for LAN/WAN, Wireless and VoIP technologies
- Conduct research and development of technology for enhancement of the overall network operations
- Monitor security and intrusion audit logs daily
- Ensure Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance
- Provide leadership and task management to Network Administrator
- Provision and procurement of Network Resources for new site builds and upgrades to existing site
What we are looking for:
- University or College Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering
- CCNP (Routing & Switching and Security) designation
- Comprehensive knowledge of network/server operating systems including Cisco IOS, Microsoft and Linux
- 5-7 years of experience supporting a multi-unit work environment
- Minimum 5 years
- experience in managing firewalls and security
- Experienced in Cisco Wireless Networks (Cisco WLC, Aironet, Meraki)
- Experienced in Cisco Unified Communication (CUCM, Cisco Unity and UCCX)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including creating technical documents and communicating with non-technical individuals
- Possess superior technical aptitude
- Highly adaptive, comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced technical environment
- High level of initiative, judgement and tact
- Team orientated with the ability to work collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge in Cisco Unified Wireless networking, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco enterprise grade products an asset
- Cisco CCIE certification is an asset
Working Conditions:
- Availability outside of business hours in order to provide 24x7 on call support on a rotational basis
- Travel to stores and data centres as required
