- About The JobThe Community Manager is the front-line management role overseeing the day-to-day operations of an assigned building/community in the affordable housing portfolio of the Company.

**Responsibilities**:
On a day-to-day basis, the key responsibilities of the Community Manager include but are not limited to:

- Manage the daily operations and maintenance of the building, based at the on-site Management Office in an efficient manner and in accordance with the Company’s standards of customer service.
- Liaise with tenants both directly and through site staff to respond to enquiries and requests for service, including:

- Scheduling of service appointments and coordination of access for troubleshooting and repair work to be conducted
- Approval of trades and contracts, as required
- Coordination for move-is and move-outs, ensuring that all required documentation has been completed on-time and accurately:

- Tenant registration documentation, including IDs, insurance coverage, utilities se-up, key deposits, PAD forms
- Tenant move-out documentation, including keys, deposit refunds and inspections
- Reviewing work orders and invoices for accuracy and completion and ensuring that costs are allocated appropriately, in collaboration with the Accounting Department and under direction from Senior Management
- Provide coaching and guidance to on-site staff
- Provide regular reporting on operations in compliance with the requirements of the City of Toronto’s Affordable Housing program
- Assist with activities related to the rental and leasing of suites, including showings and inspections

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of post-secondary education
- 5+ years of experience in the residential real estate field
- Experience with residential rental properties is highly desirable
- Solid knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) and RentSafeTo
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to deliver high quality results while working under multiple deadlines
- High degree of comfort with working in an office environment
- High degree of professionalism with the ability to demonstrate tact and maintain confidentiality
- Availability and flexibility to work evenings and weekends at times
