Kotn is looking for a Product Development Coordinator who coordinates the development of new and existing styles with emphasis on design intent, quality, construction, fit and cost from initial hand off through product release to Production/Vendors in line with the overall company product strategy, sustainability standards, and market needs. As an essential part of the Supply Chain Team, you will play a pivotal role in translating seasonal designs into final products. You will work closely with our external vendors around seasonal development timelines and coordinate with various teams to make sure all launches are happening on time and as expected. This is an exciting opportunity; integral to the growth and success of the Kotn Operation.

Full time, in office position.

**What you’ll be working on**:
**Product Development & Sourcing (40%)**
- Working with Product Development Manager to ensure seasonal product development calendars are aligned with product groupings and launch dates.
- Assist with reviewing all specs (BOMs/tech packs) for accuracy, completeness, quality, affordability, and compliance prior to issuance.
- Ensure care content labels are accurate and follow international guidelines.
- Assist with relevant reporting for product development and supplier metrics
- Support with sourcing requests and documenting the feasibility of design capability inquiries.
- Update and maintain supplier matrix report.

**Communication, Coordination & Project Management (40%)**
- Follow up with external vendors for preparation of sample submissions for fit, fabric, trim, lab dips, artwork, photoshoot sample and bulk submissions.
- Organizing, requesting & tracking all sample submissions and comments seasonally from external vendors.
- Update the Product Development Tracker on a daily basis.
- Build time & action calendars per style for each season & maintain a report of sample ready dates.
- Clearly communicate issues and delays for the Senior Product Development Manager.
- Submit sample invoices and sample shipping invoices to Accounts Payable.

**Process Improvement (20%)**
- Contribute to process improvement by sharing feedback and ideas with Product Development Manager
- Assist in creating SOPs for relevant product development processes

**Additional Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Production, Supply Chain or similar.
- 1+ years of experience in technical design, or product development roles
- Proficient in Excel, Google Documents and File Management.
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Passionate about the future of fashion and manufacturing and have an understanding of the ethical fashion landscape.
