Accounts Payable Clerk
**Duties**:
- Review and process accounts payable and/or commission invoices with proper documentation and ensure accurate and timely payment
- Prepare Purchase Orders
- Maintain organized and up-to-date files for all accounts payable documents
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoice or payment issues
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Knowledge in Newstar system is a plus
- Knowledgeable in finding and solving discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
