Bedford, Canada Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Full time

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting staff and students, answering phone calls, directing visitors and taking messages.
- Provides administrative support by processing mail, taking meeting minutes, filing, and preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports and other documents as requested.
- Purchasing equipment and supplies, maintaining an inventory of supplies.
- Helping to organize events, as directed, by securing food, preparing invitations, announcements, agendas, and brochures and assisting with the event as it occurs.
- Supports the administrative business functions of the college by organizing teachers, verifying and processing student enrollment and records. Maintaining the security of classrooms, equipment and records.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Provide technical support for any issues workers have with their technology.
- Configure, administer, maintain, update and document the Moodle LMS environment and plug-ins
- Works collaboratively with faculty in the development and import of course content on Moodle.
- Design online training modules on Moodle, incorporating a variety of web-design and instructional tools that include graphics, streaming video, and audio
- Manage site user authentication and course enrollment processes on Moodle.
- Assist Moodle end users with functional questions.
- Support the department by performing all other duties as assigned by the President.

**Required Skills and Attributes**:

- Working knowledge of Moodle or other Learning Management Systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, willing to devote energy to a project
- Excellent formal English writing skills with strong attention to detail in grammar and punctuation
- Excellent verbal communication skills in native-level English
- Ability to multitask and work under shifting priorities and deadlines
- Must have reliable transportation
- An outgoing, friendly personality with professional approach to all interactions
