Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards & Analytics, this individual will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and administration of compensation programs including but not limited to salary administration, short term and long-term incentive plans, external benchmarking, and internal equity.

To provide compensation recommendations to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness and legislative compliance and to enable business objectives at all levels.

To work with stakeholders at different levels of the organization, support the annual compensation review program and competitive market analysis, and advise HR managers and business partners on compensation policies and practices to support business needs related to the organization's strategy.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Lead total rewards (TR) projects (e.g., plan changes, collective agreement amendments, legislative requirements/changes (e.g. Pay Equity), policy/process reviews, etc.) from conception to implementation including identifying requirements, planning, executing, reporting, monitoring, and closure and lessons learned.- Leads the benchmarking process to gather and analyze market data to evaluate and determine the competitiveness of Ontario Health’s compensation programs in alignment with the Benefits and Total Rewards strategy. Conducts external market scans to ensure salaries and benefits are competitive to Ontario Health’s goals. Provides the Director with the analytical results of market surveys, recommendations, and presentations for decision-making purposes.- Prepares briefing notes, and comprehensive presentations/materials to effectively communicate with senior leadership, people leaders and employees on various changes to Total Rewards programs, practices, polices and initiatives.- Assists with financial modeling to ensure viability of programs, as required.- Leads the annual compensation processes, including merit, performance management, and short-term incentives, and establishes applicable salary increase guidelines, individual adjustments, validation, and reporting.- Oversees the Performance Development Program.- Conducts the annual review of compensation bands to remain competitive, including conducting external environmental scans, participating in annual compensation surveys, reviewing benchmarking data, etc.- Oversees research regarding current trends to assist in the development and maintenance of a competitive compensation program as part of the Total Rewards strategy.- Identifies opportunities to consolidate/recalibrate job levels, job codes, base pay structures and bonus programs.- Leads the job evaluation process including evaluating/analyzing job descriptions and market premium jobs within established bands/ranges. Leverages a systematic way of determining the value/worth of a job in relation to other jobs across Ontario Health and provides comparison between jobs to assess their relative worth for the purpose of establishing a rational pay structure. Monitors, and maintains the job evaluation tools to ensure their integrity.- Develops/revises job descriptions and maintains the job description inventory.- Stays current with changes within the organization and its impact on compensation activities.- Assists in the development and maintenance of compensation administration guidelines and ensures compliance with legislation, as well as corporate policies and procedures.-
