**The Opportunity**

The Total Rewards Intern will support the team on a variety of total rewards projects including designing our global compensation structure and job evaluation framework, preparing employee education and training materials on total rewards programs, improving our analytics and reporting using our HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Excel, and updating existing HR modules within our HRIS.

**This position will work on-site in our Toronto, ON office.**

**The Team**

The role will report directly to and work closely with the Manager, Compensation & UKG Dimensions. The role will also work with Senior Manager, North America Payroll and HRIS and Senior Director, Total Rewards, HR Operations and Payroll Teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the global compensation structure and job evaluation framework design and implementation, which includes auditing of current job data, preparing job descriptions, evaluating jobs, benchmarking and pricing jobs, designing salary structures and ranges, and preparing education and training materials.
- Prepare or update employee education and training materials on existing and new total rewards programs (e.g., compensation 101, benefits programs offered, using our HRIS or 3rd party technology to administer total rewards programs).
- Audit various HR data in our HRIS and update as required.
- Using the HR data in our HRIS, prepare reports and dashboards to educate stakeholders on various HR items (headcount, turnover, total compensation, benefits, etc.).
- Support functional and efficiency updates of existing HR modules within our HRIS.
- Assist the team on other initiatives as required.

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University/College, working towards a degree/certification in Human Resources Management.
- General knowledge of various Human Resources areas (particularly Total Rewards)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
