The Learning Centre leads corporate learning across the BC Public Service to ensure all employees have access to high-quality, consistent core learning and development opportunities throughout their careers. Corporate learning equips employees, supervisors, managers, and senior leaders with skills and tools to help them thrive in their roles and lead in a dynamic and modern context. The Learning Centre works with partners across the BCPS in the development and delivery of priority e-learning in-person instruction, virtual live delivery and blended resources and programs for a corporate audience.

The Corporate Learning Governance and Planning Lead, reporting to the Director of Governance, Evaluation and Planning, is a key enabler of the implementation and management of a cross-government governance model to support the implementation of the corporate learning framework, including a corporate learning strategy informed by organizational and employee learning needs. The Lead also ensures the effective implementation of a corporate learning measurement and reporting framework. Working collaboratively with partners across the Learning Centre and BC Public Service Agency (PSA), central agencies, ministry Human Resources and other ministry teams, the Lead supports the Director in creating the tools, systems and processes required to govern, integrate, align and guide corporate learning initiatives for maximum effectiveness and impact, return on investment, and reduced duplication.

The Lead supports and/or leads a wide range of initiatives and projects related to governance and implementation of a corporate learning strategy; change management; staff engagement and recognition; knowledge transfer and professional development; organizational wellness; branch policies and processes; corporate priorities; stakeholder relations; and other special projects.

**Job Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as education and/or adult education, human resources, communications, business administration or public administration, plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience must include at least two (2) of the following:

- Developing and maintaining relationships with various interested parties and partners, leading planning sessions, managing financial resources and directing the work of staff and/or consultants.
- Analysis of complex issues, evaluation of options and recommendation of solutions in a business management or public administration environment.
- Experience with governance, measurement, and reporting in a public sector environment.
- Preference may be given to applicants with more than 2 years of experience in all the above.
