**Shift: Sun (6am - 5:00pm), Mon - Thurs (8am - 5pm)**

**What you will be doing**:

- Moving around between office and warehouse, answering incoming inquiries, making outbound inquiries, and updating order information.
- Open operations Sunday mornings and oversee load up of drivers and adjust routes as needed to cover last minute absences, weather delays, etc.
- Prompt and responsive answering of incoming phone calls to support entering orders, answering service and pricing inquiries, providing proof of delivery, and/or transferring calls.
- Work with Dispatchers to ensure 100% on time service.
- Support couriers by providing routing, guidance, and making external phone calls to gather information as needed.
- Manage frequent inbound and outbound communications professionally.
- Update note and/or order information and/or dispatch orders on Courier Complete.
- Receive and check in drivers and freight as needed.
- Constant monitoring of dispatch board to proactively provide quality control.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all services and how they connect to best pricing options.
- Administrative tasks and completion of daily reports as required.

**What we are looking for**:

- A solid geographical understanding of the major highways and roads in the GTA, and cities and towns within Ontario.
- **Min 1 year of experience** working directly in a courier dispatch or similar environment.
- **Forklift license i**s an asset, and/or willingness to be trained.
- **Valid driver’s license**.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Previous experience with using Google to map, view traffic, and/or look up information.
- Experience working with Courier Complete software would be an asset.
- Strong customer service skills coupled with solid verbal and written communication skills.
- A friendly, personable, and positive attitude "go-getter" with a sense of urgency, and creative solutions.
- Willingness to learn and is eager to grow their career in logistics.
- Ability to resolve issues/conflicts and provide a solution.
- Self-starter, multi-tasker, organized, and works productively unsupervised and can prioritize in a calm and well structured manner.
- Produces accurate work with a strong attention to detail and a strong memory for specifics.

**Other Requirements**:

- Able and willing to be _**flexible **_with the schedule as needed to cover off for colleagues and take on additional hours during high volume periods, including weekends and holidays.
- Limited travel to other locations may be required from time-to-time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate a pump/lift truck.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
