Overview

The CHEP Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the utilization of CHEP pallets and other reusable packaging materials within the organization's supply chain. This role involves coordinating activities related to CHEP pallet movements, tracking inventory, resolving issues, and collaborating with various departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations.

The CHEP Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient and sustainable supply chain operations by managing CHEP pallets and ensuring compliance with established standards. This position requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to optimize pallet utilization and minimize operational disruptions.

**Responsibilities**
- Pallet Management: Monitor and manage the movement and tracking of CHEP pallets, ensuring efficient utilization and minimizing loss or damage.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of CHEP pallet inventory, conducting regular audits to reconcile discrepancies and prevent shortages or overages.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with CHEP guidelines, standards, and agreements, and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any issues related to CHEP pallets, such as disputes, damaged pallets, or misplacements.
- Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including logistics, transportation, and warehousing, to optimize CHEP pallet flows and support operational efficiency.
- Communication: Maintain communication with external partners, CHEP representatives, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any concerns.
- Reporting: Generate reports on CHEP pallet utilization, costs, and performance metrics, providing insights for process improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Knowledge of CHEP pallet systems and related best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for inventory tracking.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment**.**
