**The impact you will have**:
The Account Executive is responsible for driving the demand of product usage in Acute Care settings to achieve financial and strategic goals within an assigned territory.
**As the **Account Executive **you will be responsible for**:
- A resilient seller, you are expected to be driven, with the passion and appetite for success, along with the determination to consistently meet exciting targets and demands from both internal and external customers.
- Liaise with nurses, purchaser, biomed engineers, occupational & physical therapists to understand the Healthcare landscape.
- An effective business planner, you will identify future opportunities in acute care, hospitals, long-term care, rehab, private and public not including the OR. You will optimally use CRM systems to plan and follow up your business leads.
- An effective negotiator you will adapt styles and approaches to enable clients to relate to you, and allow you the opportunity to provide the most appropriate and tailored service.
- Using your robust relationship management expertise, and effective use of company CRM systems, you will maintain the customer relationship after the sale, while ensuring that the customer receives an efficient after sales service from the group.
- You will use your research and insight gained into customer issues and opportunities as the basis for effective account and customer planning, and to drive effective decision making and sales decisions.
**The skills you will need**:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology, provincial funding knowledge by sector, and third party payer claims preferably in the Health Care market.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Provide support after hours, on weekends and holidays as required.
- Background in handling long sales “Life-cycle” processes and in “consultative” selling, ideally in a group environment, where there has been a requirement to work collaboratively across different functions and areas of expertise.
- Calls on nurses, purchaser, biomed engineers, occupational & physical therapists
- Geographically familiar and comfortable with being on the road min 3- 4 days / week
- 70% Hunting and 30% Farming
- 2-5+ years B2B sales experience ideally in Medical Sales and experience with RFPs and process
- Strong ability to present and demonstrate optimally in front of multiple people
