**Order Entry Specialist**
We are currently seeking an **Order Entry Specialist** to join our team on a contract basis, providing support in ordering contract furniture. Our Order Entry Specialist works with various team members, as well as with suppliers, to process order requests onto the applicable manufacturer within established guidelines, in a fast paced environment.

**Order Entry Specialist**:
As our new **Order Entry Specialist, **your tasks will include understanding project / client needs, verifying approvals and requirements are met, phasing / splitting / tagging of product specifications, verifying ship to / bill to information is correct, preparing purchase orders, liaising with vendors and various team members.
This role requires a level of detail to ensure clean orders are submitted electronically to our vendor partners within established timelines. Expected to work independently with mínimal supervision in our Pickering office and limited travel to our branch locations / manufacturers for training may be required from time to time.
**Working with Holmes & Brakel**:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. working from our
Pickering office. You’ll receive a competitive starting salary between $45,000 and
$50,000 per year, commensurate with your experience.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in an order entry environment
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong ability in fundamental math, and ability to generate accurate estimates quickly
- Related experience in the contract furniture industry or similar wholesale/dealership environment (furniture, appliances, contracting, etc.) would be preferred
- Working knowledge of furniture specification and business software or similar
(Project Matrix/Team Design) would be preferred.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or a related field would be an asset
