**About the Job**

As the Executive Assistant to the CEO & Workplace Experience Manager at Vendasta, you'll be at the heart of our organization's operations, ensuring seamless communication and coordination for our CEO while also shaping the workplace experience for our team. You'll manage the CEO's schedule, prioritize tasks, and handle correspondence, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities. Simultaneously, you'll spearhead initiatives to enhance workplace culture, organizing events, implementing employee engagement programs, and addressing any workplace concerns. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a positive and productive environment where every team member feels supported and valued, ultimately driving our organization's success forward.

**Your Impact**

As a Executive Assistant to the CEO & Workplace Experience Manager you'll work directly with the CEO, and all divisions at Vendasta to:

- Providing high-level administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Serving as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, relaying messages, and ensuring effective communication channels.
- Provide a "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and staff, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with the S-Team.
- Overseeing office operations and facilities management to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace environment.
- Planning and coordinating internal meetings, events, and company-wide activities, including team-building exercises and celebrations.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being, such as organizing social events and wellness programs.
- Assisting with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO, managing timelines, tasks, and resources as needed.
- Optimize the workplace to work for all Vendastians whether in office, hybrid or remote.
- Collaborate with People Operations and GM’s to organize new hire events/tours, divisional onboarding and various events such as All Hands and Ideas on Tap.

You will be expected to provide strategic support in addition to tactical, reactive support for the CEO and Senior Leadership team. You will also have an opportunity to carve out and own projects that align with your interests and career path goals. The potential responsibility scope and growth in this role is limitless. We aim for this role to grow as our company scales. This position will report to the CEO for Executive Assistant responsibilities, and dotted line reporting to VP People for staffing and onboarding responsibilities.

You will be one of the first points of contact for our CEO and the Executive team—so we are looking for an applicant who demonstrates professionalism, has excellent communication skills, and has an approachable demeanour. This role is dynamic and can change day to day, so a “see it, grab it, do it” attitude is key
