**About the Company**:
CP Barrett Financial Inc. is an office with one financial advisor, with over 30 years experience, who offers investment and insurance services to approximately 250 clients.

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the President, the Administrative Assistant will support the financial advisor by providing administrative support, office organization and excellent customer service to clients.

Presently, the advisor has taken on additional business and is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to help with the additional workload.

The role would be a great position for someone who is looking to pursue a career within the financial sector and offers great work life balance.

We are looking for someone who is available to work during the day at our Bedford Office for approximately 15-20 hours a week however, exact schedule and compensation is negotiable.

**Duties**:
Some regular tasks you could expect in this role would be but are not limited to:

- Sending paperwork for signature using DocuSign
- Keeping track and submitting documents for the advisor's continuing education and compliance requirements
- Maintaining a filing system and assisting with moving paper files to a digital record

**To be successful in this position the applicant should**:

- Have excellent organization skills with sound judgment for prioritizing work

navigating online web portals (IE to source statements, print forms, submit documents)
- Must take steps and exercise due diligence to maintain client confidentiality and security
of financial information
- Be responsible and dependable with the ability to work well with little to no supervision
- Have a positive, friendly demeanor
- Be self motivated and able to independently source answers with reference material or
by contacting service departments by phone
- Must pay close attention to detail and accuracy of information

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of High School Diploma
- Completion of a Business Administration program or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in an office environment and with standard office equipment
- Experience in customer service
- Preference will be given to those who demonstrate a background in finance/insurance

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
