The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction, mining, and environmental services within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Administrator to join our team from our office based in Bedford, NS.

**Job Summary**:
The Facility Maintenance Administrator would be responsible for project schedule coordination, processing, and handling of contracts and, purchase orders, change orders, invoicing, maintaining, and updating applicable databases, making necessary copies of packages, sending reminders, manage statuses, scheduling of meetings, etc. Additionally, this position assists Facilities Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager with day to day project activities.

**Site Services Performance and Reporting**:
Supports and implements a scheduled maintenance program for building assets managed by Facilities Maintenance team;
Supports and prepares work plans including instructions for safety;
Co-ordinates building maintenance and field services activities with the front-line supervisors;
Creates work orders for planned jobs.
Creates requisitions for parts and services and tracks for planned jobs in conjunction with Procurement;
Tracks and maintains asset history;
Optimizes repair and PM schedules;
Prepares technical documentation including drawings and procedural instruction;
Ensures work completed or required is efficiently documented;
Tracks and manages weekly/monthly Planning projects and progress reporting;
Assists in the development of critical path plans and budgets
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
Technician/Technologist, or a combination of education and work experience;
Knowledge in MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with specific knowledge of SAP, Oracle, MS Project would be considered an asset.
1 year of planning/construction support related experience,
Strong problem-solving, teamwork and ability to develop and foster strong working relationships;
Strong sense of integrity, ethics and desire to positively impact the environment;
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
