The **Haskayne School of Business** is currently seeking a Full-time Limited Term **Engagement Coordinator **for approximately 24 months.

- and part-time students currently enrolled in bachelor's, master's, and doctorate programs, and 25,000 alumni in 80 countries. The center's of excellence within the Haskayne Centre's currently include the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership in Business, the Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies, the Trico Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Centre, along with a number of other experiential learning and community engagement initiatives. Established through philanthropy and community investment, the Center's provide unique and transformative experiences at the intersection of students, faculty and the business community.

Reporting to the Haskayne Centre's Program Lead, Community Engagement, the Engagement Coordinator will support the Haskayne Centre's community-focused experiential learning portfolio, which primarily includes Propel (micro-internships for graduate students) and the Real Deal (an in-class guest speaker program).

This position is expected to improve coordination within and across Haskayne Centre's programming and initiatives with the aim to bridge the gap between theory and professional practice for students. The incumbent will keep current with trends in experiential learning, volunteer and community engagement, event execution and logistics as they relate to the portfolio. The incumbent will collaborate and work with Haskayne Centre's and Haskayne School of Business colleagues and partners across campus to deliver relevant and impactful programming opportunities.

This position requires frequent interactions with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. A professional and mature manner and excellent communication skills are essential. This position works within a framework of University and School policies and procedures and uses personal initiative and good judgment. The position requires a positive attitude, readiness to collaborate and skill in maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders.

This position normally works Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M, 7 hours per day (35 hours per week), although extended or alternative hours (evenings and weekends) may be required. This role is limited term, two years, with possibility of extension.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):

- Consult with the Haskayne Center's team and stakeholders to identify programming objectives and take responsibility for planning the scope and format of said programming
- Design and implement processes and templates for supporting students and community partners in creating appropriate project plans for the different projects in the program portfolio
- Assist in the planning and execution of multiple initiatives, including events and programming that are evolving and long-term in nature; the focus is on relevant, meaningful community engagement and impactful student experiences connected to these opportunities
- Act as a liaison with individuals and groups in the school on behalf of the relevant programs, across all programs (MBA, Masters of Management, BComm)
- Assist with ensuring that program and logistics and preparations (such as venue arrangements, catering, signage, invitations, accommodations, transportation, etc.) are organized, documented, communicated and implemented
- Create, update and distribute timelines, supports the preparation of collateral (program brief, speaking notes, presentations, invitations, logístical information related to programs and initiatives etc.) and provides information to all relevant stakeholders prior to and throughout the program
- Coordinate the collection of metrics related to initiatives
- Support team members and faculty with thank-you gifts, parking codes, and briefs for volunteers visiting campus for experiential learning purposes
- Exercise sound judgement and decision-making within the University guidelines to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives, events and activities
- Take the lead on recruiting student participants in the Propel program, with a focus on MBA and Master of Management students
- Support community partners and students through the Haskayne Centre's experiential
learning process and approach as required for the portfolio
