Account Manager / Business Development Representative / Sales Executive
Canadian Mailbox Company is a leading Canadian manufacturer in postal products. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
A new management structure is looking for a motivated and results-driven, sales oriented member to join our team. This position will be responsible for growing accounts, expanding our customer base, and achieving sales targets. This role is the primary contact for clients, managing all facets of the sales process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to maximize account growth by anticipating needs and upselling with current and new products.
- Initiate and execute strategies to revitalize dormant or underperforming client accounts.
- Maintain knowledge of products and services to respond to customer queries.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries.
- Prepare customer quotations and oversee creation of sales orders.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Collaborate with external sales agents/distributors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address client issues with solutions that cater to their needs.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Update customer information on CRM.
- Follow up on all pending orders.
- Follow up on all pending quotes on a weekly/biweekly rotation.
- Follow up on all big projects.
**Growth (New Accounts)**:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Develop new opportunities through collaboration with field sales, targeted cold calls, and competitive research.
- Prepare and deliver virtual training, seminars, and presentations with existing dealers and prospects.
- Building a book of repeat business relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy
- Driving sales and achieving strategic objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to get information without being too aggressive.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-starter who can also work as part of a team.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$500,000.00 per year
