**Position Description**:
The Clinical Research Project Assistant works closely with the Site Lead, Dr. Jonathan Pirie, as well as other research physicians, to facilitate enrollment of staff from several SickKids divisions and departments as well as helping to run the pilot and study sessions for the study entitled: ¿Impact of Aerosol Box Use during Cardiopulmonary Arrest: A Multicenter, Randomized Trial¿. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to promote research participation, coordinate recruitment, facilitate study sessions and manage data collection.

**Here's What You¿ll Get to Do**:

- Familiarize yourself with inclusion/exclusion criteria for the above named study
- Obtain informed consent and assent
- Administer research questionnaires and assessments where required
- Maintain a recruitment tracking log
- Help to set up, trouble shoot, and take down equipment and supplies on study sessions days
- Liaise with clinical staff, research team members, simulation team members, and administrative staff.

**Here¿s What You¿ll Need**:

- Post-secondary degree in sciences, social sciences or a health related discipline
- Previous research experience preferred; experience in a paediatric clinical research an asset
- Comfortable working with clinical faculty
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills with respiratory therapists, nurses, and physicians
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple demands
- Strong computer skills; experience with online databases (i.e. REDCap) is a plus
- Detail oriented
- Firm understanding of research policies, ethics, and regulations; completion of TCPS2 Ethics Training and/or Good Clinical Practice (GCP) an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion objectives

**Hours of Work**: 4-hour shifts, 1-2 times a week, 10am-4pm, over 20 sessions**Contract Length**: 4-6 months (variable)**Our Commitment to Diversity**:
