**Schedule**:Monday and Thursday (8:30-4:30) Tuesday and Wednesday (10 am - 6 pm)

**Salary**:This position starts at $57,595 per year and increases to $79,513.20 per year over a 10-year period. This salary range incorporates experience, yearly salary increments to reward years of service, and employee growth and development within the organization.

**End Date**: March 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension pending funding approval.

**PURPOSE**:
DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society is seeking a Manager, Counselling and Health Promotion, to support our Counselling and Gender Based Violence Services Department. The Counselling and Health Promotion Services manager ensures that programs, services, and practices align with clinical knowledge, best practices, and evidence. With a commitment to the growth and development of the team, the Manager of Counselling and Health Promotion promotes a culture of service focused on culturally agile, client-centered program design, implementation, innovation, and evaluation. This position will supervise clinical staff, build capacity, review and approve cases, train staff and interns, and work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance our services per the organization’s values and vision.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Clinical Supervision
- Support the design, management, and implementation of multi-disciplinary systems of care, supervising and supporting clinical and case management staff providing individual and group counselling services;
- Provides clinical supervision to ensure all staff provide professional, client-centered support which enables quality, culturally agile service delivery;
- Provide clinical supervision, support, and consultation through individual and group case review in counselling programs;
- Ensure that individual service plans are designed, implemented and evaluated on a continuous basis and that case plans and client files are kept up to date;
- Support intake and screening processes and systems;
- Provide clinical supervision to staff in collaboration with other program managers at DIVERSEcity;
- Responsible for the development, adoption, and commitment to clinical best practices;
- Provide case consultation for developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating plans and programs designed to ensure that clients’ needs are met;
- Ensure that accurate program and clients records are maintained, and that confidentiality is a priority. Conduct regular file reviews and implement file management processes to ensure that all pertinent documentation is complete and to ensure adherence to agency, ethical, funding, and legal requirements;
- Ensures training and professional development opportunities for staff to meet the emerging needs of clients in the community;
- Supports completion of annual performance reviews for all program staff.

Program & Service Delivery
- Monitors and ensures program service quality, utilization and evaluation in accordance with best practice and contract requirements;
- Ensures that programs utilize best practices in the field and are responsive to community needs;
- Supports with the completion of reports to funders, assigned supervisor or Board of Directors, as required;
- Participates positively and cooperatively within a team or partnership model, in meetings or when attending committees or events.
- Represents and advocates for DIVERSEcity positively and professionally in the community;
- Attends meetings and conferences & participates on advisory committees and focus groups as a representative of DIVERSEcity;
- Ensures that the Director is informed and updated on issues related to programs being managed, especially those that may present a risk to the organization.

Program Development, Strategic Growth & Innovation
- Ensures that programs are innovative, effective and meet the needs of clients and their community;
- Participates in external committees, advisory groups and relevant networks to be informed and updated on emerging issues, build capacity of programming and advocate on behalf of clients to help address service gaps in the community;
- Actively participates in opportunities (both internal and external) for both knowledge and skill development in program growth and development (e.g. professional development training, coaching, program manager meetings, networking, needs assessment, community growth trends and initiatives);
- Develops annual and long-range program plans to grow the program portfolio;
- Looks for innovation and building capacity within the program portfolio, including exploration of online and phone services as well as fee-based programs;
- Other duties as assigned.
