Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Practice: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals and groups with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Case Management: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, and provide ongoing support to clients and their families.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to clients, families, and community members on mental health and substance use issues, as well as available resources and services.
  • Community Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, and other stakeholders to enhance access to care and promote coordination of services.
  • Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies to enhance the delivery of mental health services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • 2 years of experience working in mental health services, preferably in a clinical or case management role.
  • Knowledge of mental health assessment tools, treatment modalities, and community resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
