Its head office is based in New Hamburg, Ontario, with additional Canadian terminals in Baden, Toronto, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Ottawa, Montreal, Trenton, Winnipeg and a U.S. terminal in Elverson, PA. **What Will You Do?**
- Maintain contact with existing customers within a specific sales territory. Search out and contact prospective customers and new business. Ensure business fits into the operational direction of the Erb Group.
- Secure and renew sales, keep customer informed on company services, rates, delivery schedules and operational policies.
- Check on competitive activity.
- Plan, organize, and co-ordinate visits with customers within a specific territory.
- Week ending “work journal reports” are produced and distributed to the Regional Sales Manager and VP Sales. This report is to be completed by the start of the workday each Monday, for the past week’s activity.
- Complete individual customer call reports (Word Document
- Template)
- Present customer pricing requests**. **In conjunction with Pricing Manager ensure prices are reviewed and renewed as required.
- Identify and analyze recurring service problems, recommend solutions and follow through to stabilization.
- Communicate and follow up with appropriate customer information.
- All other duties as required.
**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Minimum four years’ sales experience in a food related transportation and distribution company.
- Communication and organizational skills are of the highest priority.
- Ability to service Erb Group customers with the highest degree of customer service as stated in the company Mission Statement.
- Must be fluent in English and French both written and verbal.
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional approach to handling sales.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
