Your New Role
The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Corporate Controller and will manage a team of 4-6 direct reports. The Accounting Manager will primarily be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Accounting Manager will oversee the vendor payment process and manage vendor relationships to ensure any vendor issues are resolved in a timely manner. The Accounting Manager will act as a business partner to key stakeholders throughout the organization and provide monthly trend analysis and insights to KPIs. The Accounting Manager will support the period-end close process, internal and external audit.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
The suitable candidate is required to hold a post-secondary degree in Accounting or a similar field, as well as being a CPA holder. The Accounting Manager will need to have a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in a large organization and have at least 2 years of people management experience. The Accounting Manager must have exposure to the CPG industry and ideally have knowledge of SAP.
