Villa Charities Inc. is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to assist the accounting department with accounts payable duties as well as performing related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Calculates prepares and issues documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports and account statements.
- Utilizes computer systems to run databases, pay bills and order supplies.
- Contacts individuals with delinquent accounts.
- Responds to customer inquiries, maintains good customer relations and solves problems
- Performs related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
- Assisting accounting team as required
- Other related responsibilities as required

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**:

- 1+ year of accounting experience - preferably in a professional environment
- Experience with Sage 300, NewViews or AccPac
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping
- Excellent Excel skills
- Bookkeeping experience is an asset
- Detail-orientated individual with an ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
