Mississauga, Canada Pine Environmental Services Full time

**Purpose**

The primary focus of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to conduct outbound calls to generate and qualify new contacts and opportunities across the country, and pass to the appropriate team members for Pine’s rental and sales product offerings in Environmental (Air, Water, Soil, Sound) instrumentation and Non-Destructive Testing/Remote Visual Inspection equipment. The position will utilize excellent telephone sales and communication skills to develop strong relationships with their customers, identify their business needs, identify new rental and sales opportunities, and quickly turn opportunities into new and recurring revenue for Pine. The position will consistently meet or exceed specific sales productivity and activity objectives and metrics through the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

**Primary Responsibilities**

Duties and responsibilities listed below are for the Sales Development (SDR) to complete during their predetermined daily schedule dedicated to inside sales:

- The (SDR) will be a key contributor in assisting the Branch to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual rental and sales revenue budgets from customer accounts in their assigned Branch Offices
- New revenue opportunities will include but not limited to active, waning, lost, dormant, new markets, marketing leads, referrals, cold calling, quote follow-up, and other potential sources
- Effective inbound and outbound qualification of prospects and account research
- Make a minimum of 30 outbound sales calls a day to existing and potential customers/contacts
- Obtain quote and order requests from customers/contacts for rental equipment and supply sales based on availability, standard or discounted pricing, and other terms and conditions as applicable and pass to the Customer Experience Representatives (CERs) and/or Territory Sales Executives (TSEs)
- Send quote and order information to their designated Branch Offices to be prepared and sent to customers
- Communicate weekly with TSEs and Branch Leadership Team
- Promote training opportunities and face-to-face meetings for the TSE to visit customers/prospects on site.
- Document and investigate any customer complaints and escalate all issues to the Branch Manager, TSE, and SDR Manager in a timely manner
- Meet weekly with the TSE, Branch Manager, and CER assigned office to review Branch performance and follow up on qualified leads and new business opportunities
- Representatives must be customer focused and deliver excellent customer experiences
- Support the rental of equipment and sales of supplies to both current and prospective customers
- Daily data entry into Conduit for all information on each inquiry from customers/prospects in their designated offices
- Open communication with all Pine Branches and vendors
- Promotion of a Health and Safety-First attitude
- Attend ongoing equipment rental and supply sales training
- Attend ongoing sales training
- Other duties as assigned

**Knowledge, Skills, Core Competencies**
- Prior outbound telephone sales experience is preferred
- Environmental/Rental industry experience preferred
- Environmental and/or NDT/RVI industry experience strongly preferred
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Phone
- Self-starter who takes initiative and has good time management skills
- Ability to think analytically with focus on problem solving
- A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office proficient

**Education/Experienc**e
- Associate Degree in related field; Bachelor’s Degree a plus
- Previous inside sales experience plus HS Diploma/GED acceptable in lieu of College Degree

**Environment**
- This is a non-safety sensitive position.

**Physical Demands**
- This position is 80% sedentary and 20% active and may include activities such as walking, standing, bending, stretching, climbing (ladder). Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
