Receptionist - Wgd - Admin & Management

JOB SUMMARY
The Receptionist reports directly to the Office Manager of Woodbridge Glass Distribution.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Health and Safety
- Create and maintain a culture of Safety First.
- Works with the Health and Safety Department to ensure implementation of Toro Aluminum’s OHSMS and adherence to all safety requirements.
- Report any known workplace hazards or violations of the Act to promptly in line with Company process.
Technical/Function
- Answer WGD telephone lines, re-direct and page internally as required, relay messages and provide answers as appropriate, receive and re-direct faxes and mail
- Greet and redirect visitors
- Filing as required.
- Assist with order entry checking and validation.
- Archive files - follow document retention guidelines and manage storage cabinets and storeroom
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and maintain list of requirements
- Provide back up support to CS team as required
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Post Secondary Diploma/Certificate or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years in a receptionist/administrative role, preferably in the glass industry.
SKILLS
- Punctual, reliable and flexible
- Previous experience in office administration
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented.
