**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Trauma Program Manager, the secretary provides administrative/secretarial support to the Medical Directors of the Trauma Program and Trauma Consult Physicians. The Secretary will assist in the daily operations of The Provincial Trauma Program and the Trauma Consult Service. The secretary provides a full range of administrative support and responsibilities will include but are not limited to, booking, registration and dissemination of information for the Trauma Consult Service Virtual Follow up Clinic.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12 plus graduate of a recognized office administration / business / secretarial program or an equivalent combination of education, training and progressively responsible experience
- Two years recent related experience required
- Medical terminology required
- STAR and PHS training, and proven experience in a similar environment an asset
- Experience in a virtual care setting required.
- Proficiency in MedAccess is an asset (electronic medical record)
- Speed and accuracy in document transcription
- Competency in the management of computer files
- Proficiency in advanced word processing functions
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases
- Proficiency physician billings (MSI and / or IFHP) is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, time management and planning/prioritization skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Permanent Full-time (100%), 70 hours bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.36 - $23.14 Hourly
