**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of daily cash deposits, including necessary reports to be filed with the bank
- Research and process customer short payments, discrepancies, price adjustments. Seek approval for adjustments from appropriate officials.
- Research and process charge backs, product returns and bad checks. Seek approval for adjustments from appropriate officials.
- Answer customer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow ups
- Call and /or mail correspondence to customers as necessary in order to collect outstanding accounts receivable
- Reconcile company customer accounts with corresponding data obtained from the customer
- Assist with related special projects and audits, as required
- Basic filing of relevant customer documentation, including invoices, bill of ladings, cash remittances and other customer correspondence
- Back-up reception phone coverage
- Performs general office duties, as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Position Requirements**:

- Accounting College/University Graduate and a minimum of 3 years related work experience
- 5+ years of related experience
- Solid experience in Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV considered an asset
- Must be self-motivated, ability to work autonomously with strong problems solving skills
- Ability to multi-task. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Basic analytical skills required, strong math and communication skills needed,
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Be respectful and deal tactfully with customers, and other employees
- Company confidentiality agreement will be required
- Willingness to work independently, with mínimal supervision and take ownership of job
- Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity

**Working Conditions**:

- Working conditions are normal for an office environment
- Use of company computer and phone
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
