Health & Safety Administrative Assistant

Provide administrative and general support with various duties to the Health and Safety /HR Manager
- Assist with arranging and scheduling orientation and training
- Ensure training and documentation systems are maintained, employee training is recorded, and competency requirements are complete
- Maintain up-to-date all employee licences and trade certificates.
- Prepare new hire packages
- Assist with H&S/COR audits
- Maintain relevant H&S documents and records
- Assist with the Safety Data Sheet program
- Assist with all day-to-day health and safety activities
- Assist with the development of the PPE program.
- Assist with new hire health and safety orientation and training
- Maintain updated SDS registry and binders
- Assists in the completion of client questionnaires and ensures that all client compliance websites are updated (Avetta, ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, Cognibox).
- Assist with the subcontractor preapproval program
- Assist with reviewing, updating, and recommending for approval H&S/HR policies and programs.
- Assist with the uniform program.
- Assist with jobsite safety boards and documentation
