Primary purpose


The primary purpose of the Coordinator, Student Admission Services role is to grow international student enrolments for Acsenda School of Management through the effective development and management of a qualified student candidate pipeline for the institution. The position is primarily responsible for managing the student pipelines and all its conversion and enrollment efforts but at the same time will also be responsible for student data management for the institutions through daily/regular audits.


The Coordinator, Student Admissions Services will work with a variety of departments through out Acsenda to ensure that there are strong communications between the incoming student and the required academic and non-academic supports. The Coordinator, Student Admissions Services will also work with in the Registrar Office setting up and identifying student needs through out the admissions intake, and ensuring required advising is in place, they will also work with student success and related housing, employment and other related services.


Key Responsibilities of this role include:


  • Manage the conversion process of student application pipelines into enrolments
  • Conduct market research and develop recommendations on offshore market conditions and current student pipelines
  • Maintain student records including inquiries, applicants and matriculants in Salesforce and Acsenda’s Student information System
  • Routinely preform data audits for all current students for Acsenda School of Management and advise on current statuses of new student and deferred student conversion.
  • In collaboration with Associate Registrar, manage all conversion initiatives to increase the yield rate of all admitted students
  • Managing the progress and report out accordingly with regards to new student applications and deferred applications


Qualifications, Technical skills and Experience required of this role include:


  • Bachelor’s Degree, (Preference may given to Business, Marketing, International Relations, Foreign Language or Education)
  • RCIC, RISIA certified or currently in progress
  • Prior experience directly working with educational agents
  • Demonstrated history of engagement with international students and foreign cultures
  • Essential to be geographically mobile and excited to spend 2-3 months per year on recruitment trips
  • Highly driven, self-motivated performer with demonstrated capacity to meet and exceed expectations
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed ability to initiate and manage relationships across different cultures
  • Ability to research, interpret and prepare reports and plans based on market data
  • Familiarity with a range of software packages, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • 2 years + experience focused on b-b/b-c international student recruitment
  • 2 years + demonstrated successful international student recruitment and/or engagement with international student experience in the education industry.
  • Knowledge of international education processes, government regulations and procedures relating to recruitment of international students
  • History of achieving targets


This position is required to be on campus a minimum of 4 days per week and 1 day per week from home if desired.
