At Mama C, our contemporary Greek cuisine blends tradition and innovation, offering an exceptional gastronomic experience with sunny flavors and an exclusive selection of Greek wines.

We are looking for a passionate Runner to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in coordinating the dining service. You will ensure that dishes are delivered quickly and at the right temperature, working closely with servers and the kitchen. Your ability to anticipate guests' needs, manage order timing, and provide impeccable service will contribute to an exceptional dining experience. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining our high standards.

YOUR ROLE IS CRUCIAL

  • Announce order tickets at the pass to the chef and kitchen team.
  • Ensure consistency in the visual presentation and temperature of dishes before sending them to the dining room.
  • Clear tables and assist with service tasks as needed.
  • Provide assistance to the kitchen team as needed, maintaining excellent communication.
  • Demonstrate discretion, agility, and dexterity when moving through the dining room to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Guarantee adherence to presentation, cleanliness, and quality standards of dishes leaving the kitchen, having a decisive role in what is sent out.
  • Responsible for setting up the pass in the kitchen as well as the service stations in the dining room.
  • Ensure that the workplace is always clean and safe.
  • Have extensive product knowledge to ensure quick and accurate service during the visual inspection of dishes.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times and welcome and interact with our guests to ensure they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Know the offers and schedules provided by the hotel to give complete information to clients.

WE NEED YOU IF

  • You have a diploma in hospitality from a recognized institution AND/OR have a minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant or a reputable hotel.
  • You know how a point of sale system (POS system) works.
  • You have the energy, endurance, and availability for this demanding role, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You are bilingual French/English for effective communication with an international clientele.
  • You maintain exemplary service standards at all times.
  • You are passionate, energetic, and professional, with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
