We are seeking a Line Cook. You will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of ingredients according to established recipes and high-quality standards. You will assist station chefs in ensuring efficient setup and maintaining cleanliness in workspaces. Your ability to support the team, follow instructions precisely, and adapt to varying service demands will significantly contribute to the efficiency and success of our kitchen.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare ingredients by performing tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning according to established standards.
  • Carefully follow recipes and preparation instructions to ensure consistency of dishes.
  • Organize and prepare ingredients, utensils, and equipment before service for efficient execution.
  • Assist the station chefs by preparing components for main dishes, appetizers, desserts, or other specific sections of the kitchen.
  • Actively participate in maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, including food preparation and storage areas, strictly adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Take pride and responsibility in every dish prepared and contribute significantly to enhancing the overall quality of the dishes served.

Other tasks may be assigned, and so we’re counting on your flexibility and resourcefulness

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in cooking, primarily in hotel establishments.
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team and ensure smooth communication, with proficiency in French and English for interaction with international suppliers.
  • Excellent stress management skills, ability to work calmly and maintain high performance during busy periods.
  • Developed organizational skills for efficient work and adherence to deadlines.
  • Energy, endurance, and availability for a demanding role, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain exemplary service standards at all times.
  • Passion, energy, and professionalism with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
  • Promote a culture focused on excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
