Project Manager of Business Development

About the Role

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Project Manager of Business Development at APS Global Partners Inc. The role involves business planning, sales, project management, communication, and utilizing analytical skills to support entrepreneurs in their start-up journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set project timeline and monitor project deliverables
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project's progress
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks assigned to them
  • Manage multiple-size projects from beginning to end
  • Define project scope, charter, goals, and deliverables in support of business goals
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet all business and contractual requirements
  • Conduct all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met
Requirements
  • Business Planning, Sales, and Communication skills
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Project Management and Analytics
  • Experience in business development and entrepreneurship
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Communications or related field
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in business incubators
  • Good understanding of Quality Assurance
  • Strong communication skills including presentations, emails, and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Technical knowledge
  • French is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Canadian start-up ecosystem is a plus
