The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance and production tasks, ensuring asset reliability and food safety.

The Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in supporting the plant's operational KPIs. This position requires a strong understanding of food and employee safety, as well as regulatory technical expertise and maintenance best practices.

About the Role * Conduct weekly prioritization meetings to coordinate maintenance activities * Create work orders from work requests and distribute relevant documents to supervision * Track KPIs and assist in the development and execution of the maintenance planning process and strategies * Troubleshoot and modify the maintenance planning system as needed * Coordinate activities with internal customers and external vendors to ensure parts and materials are available * Develop and improve PMs, MSS, CILs, and other maintenance-related processes * Analyze and plan resources, materials, and outside services to complete work orders * Schedule internal and external resources, materials, and services to satisfy work order requirements * Develop work standards and job plans in collaboration with supervision * Create and distribute daily and weekly schedules * Ensure work orders are closed when completed * Facilitate maintenance planning and scheduling meetings * Arrange availability of shared resources * Stage material for planned work * Manage the department's technical documentation and stores * Identify and communicate safety precautions and risk assessments * Ensure accuracy of the maintenance management system * Execute tasks as dictated by the role's checklist * Establish maintenance routines for new equipment * Ensure work orders are updated when parts are received About You * College diploma or engineering degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience * CMRP or MMP designations an asset * Demonstrated leadership and employee engagement skills * High level of regulatory technical expertise, continuous improvement, and maintenance best practices * Excellent verbal and written skills * Intermediate computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CMMS * SAP knowledge an asset * Experience with preventative maintenance programs * Ambition and motivation to succeed and meet goals * Organizational and time management skills * Bilingual (English/French) an asset About Barry Callebaut Barry Callebaut is a dynamic international company that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.
