As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and facilities. You will work closely with the Mechanical Lead Hand, Electrical Lead Hand, and MRO coordinator to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule maintenance work to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure a culture of zero injuries
* Use MP2 software to manage work orders and preventive maintenance plans
* Ensure all maintenance jobs are planned and scheduled to meet deadlines and efficiency standards
* Communicate maintenance schedules to affected parties and ensure all necessary parts are kitted and delivered
* Identify areas for improvement, including safety risks, PM task improvements, and general departmental operating improvements
* Assist in creating plans for improvement efforts and troubleshoot preventative maintenance issues
* Work closely with the MRO coordinator to update spare parts lists in MP2
Requirements:
* Good understanding of preventative maintenance skills and mechanical and electrical equipment
* Excellent organizational skills and strong level of computer skills
* Effective verbal and written communication skills and self-motivation
* College certification in Engineering or related field is preferred
* Available to work conventional shift (days) and willing to work overtime as required
