About the role

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team based out of our Ottawa Intact Service Centre

What you'll do here:

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience for all Intact Service Centre customers, face to face and on the phone
  • Explain the Intact Service Centre repair process to our insured and provide regular status updates throughout their claim
  • Build trust with customers through open and honest communication
  • Work closely with our business partners (rental company/body shop) to ensure a timely repair and seamless experience for our insureds
  • Valet vehicles to and from our repair shops
  • Document and direct inquires and assignments to appropriate individuals or units
  • Consult, interpret, verify, correct and update various documents and data.
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

What you bring to the table:

  • College or University Degree or equivalent customer service experience
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French in an asset)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, high pressure environment
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Comfortable with computer systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Great organizational skills
  • Team player with the ability to share job responsibilities of others when called on.
  • A valid G drivers license in Ontario with a clean driving record
