About the Role
Air Canada is currently seeking dedicated Customer Experience Specialists to enhance our operations at the Ottawa Airport. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to ensuring that all flights are prepared for secure and timely departures by assisting passengers at various airport locations.

Daily Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Specialist at the Ottawa airport, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and diverse team representing Air Canada. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating customer check-in processes and issuing boarding passes
- Assisting pre-boarding customers and providing essential information regarding flight schedules and routes
- Supporting customers requiring special assistance throughout their journey, ensuring their safe and timely transport to gates or baggage claims
- Engaging in active movement throughout the airport to fulfill assigned duties

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Willingness to participate in and successfully complete a five (5) to seven (7) week full-time paid training program
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts over a 24-hour period, including weekends and holidays
- Capability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist customers with reduced mobility
- Competence in adhering to strict timelines to maintain on-time performance
- Commitment to Air Canada's attendance and grooming standards
- Previous experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills aligned with company guidelines and policies
- Safety and security awareness
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
Linguistic Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and French. However, strong consideration will also be given to candidates fluent in English and one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese, Greek, Hindi, Punjabi.
