The Territory Manager, Quebec will provide excellent sales and service to end users supporting cardiac surgery and complimentary products. Responsible for projecting and achieving sales targets in units and revenue within assigned territories. Will evaluate the market continuously, report market conditions, and evaluate and recommend appropriate strategies for the territory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets in units and revenue as well as price targets.
  • Evaluate the market situation in assigned territory continuously and regularly report market data and trends to management.
  • Propose sales targets and strategies to management regularly and present written reports and recommendations. Develop and propose promotional programs (i.e., symposia and seminars) to achieve district sales objectives.
  • Ensures that all sales and marketing activities are aligned with company compliance policy and are conducted within legal and ethical standards.
  • Project and maintain company image and presence within the assigned territory with regular and frequent customer visits, presence at trade shows, surgeon visits, etc.
  • Propose & maintain consignment inventories consistent with company policies.
  • Assist with clinical trial activities as necessary to rapidly approve new products.
  • As required, provide timely monthly sales reports, expense reports, account profiles, and other company reports.
  • Update the sales database continuously to maintain the reliability and validity of the data.
  • Compile required reports and customer presentations.
  • Manage territory expense budget.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of previous sales experience in the medical field. Clinical experience in related fields will be a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to provide individual and team leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
  • Successful experience in meeting and exceeding company sales objectives.
  • Experience in developing and presenting professional presentations
  • Ability to articulate and develop professional relationships.
  • Proficient with spreadsheets, graphics, word processing and other software.
  • A university degree, preferably in the sciences or health-related disciplines.
