We are a busy law firm located in downtown Barrie looking for a bright, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to start immediately.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Open and close files: includes opening files in Soluno and Unity, sending correspondence to clients and following up with clients.
  2. Answering telephones and redirecting calls to the appropriate staff member.
  3. Greeting clients/visitors and accepting deliveries.
  4. Scan documents, distribute mail.
  5. Legal Courier – many trips to the banks and other Law Offices daily, most within walking distance to the Firm but some driving is required.
  6. Ordering office supplies.
  7. Assisting the Clerks when necessary.

Required skills:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and work well in a team environment.
  • Some heavy lifting required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Salary commensurate with experience. Competitive benefit package and RSP contribution plan.
