The Job

This posting is for temporary Bilingual Human Resources Administrative Assistant based from the Barrie office. The incumbent will report to the HR Manager and will have primary responsibilities to oversee the time and attendance program in addition to providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. This is a non-union position.

Compétences

  • Diplôme d’études postsecondaires en Ressources Humaines.
  • Expérience antérieure dans le domaine des ressources humaines.
  • Expérience de travail avec le système d'information des ressources humaines (SIRH)
  • Solide compréhension de l’infrastructure et des processus organisationnels.
  • Solide engagement envers un service à la clientèle de qualité et capacité de travailler efficacement et en collaboration avec le personnel de l’Agence.
  • Capacité d’assurer la confidentialité et de faire preuve de jugement.
  • Compréhension des valeurs et des principes anti-oppression avec une connaissance et une conscience particulière de la culture et de l’histoire, ainsi qu’une compréhension des problèmes sociaux et politiques auxquels sont confrontés les Premières Nations, les Métis et les Inuits aujourd’hui.
  • Il est important de bien comprendre les valeurs et les principes de lutte contre l’oppression.
  • Il faut obligatoirement être bilingue (français / anglais); les compétences seront testées.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources.
  • Prior experience working in Human Resources.
  • Experience working within Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Solid understanding of organizational infrastructure and processes.
  • Strong commitment to quality customer service and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with agency personnel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
  • Understanding of anti-oppression values and principles with particular knowledge and awareness of the culture and history along with an understanding of the social and political issues facing First Nations, Métis and Inuit people today.
  • An appreciation of and ability to work with a diverse community.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required, proficiency will be tested.

Rémunération

Le salaire, qui varie entre 45 181$ et 59 035$, selon expérience, est doté d'un ensemble d'avantages sociaux généreux, de vacances et d'allocations pour des absences autorisées.
