Job Opening

Bureau Veritas is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our environmental laboratory in Montreal, QC.

Key Accountability/Responsibilities
  1. HR and HRIS Administration


• Ensure all employee records are up to date in SuccessFactors


• Create offer letters and employment contracts using applicable templates


• Maintain HR trackers and ensure accuracy of data


• Work closely with Payroll to ensure all HR updates are timely and correct

Personnel Files Management


• Maintain electronic and physical employee records and HR files


• Enter and track training records

Benefits Administration


• Administer enrollments and changes for all benefits plans


• Be the primary point of contact for benefits and RRSP administration

Recruitment and Selection


• Conduct phone screening and background checks as needed


• Schedule and coordinate job interviews as needed


• Maintain Job Descriptions bank

Onboarding and Offboarding Activities


• Scheduling and coordinating various aspects of the onboarding process


• Ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available for new hires


• Conduct exit interviews and coordinate employee termination process

Other Duties


• Be an active advocate for employee engagement activities


• Manage building access and employee lockers


• Adhere to Company's safety policies and procedures


• Other tasks and duties as assigned

Skills and Knowledge

Completion of Human Resources Certificate, Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in a data entry/office administration/support role
• High proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel
• Knowledge of applicable provincial and federal legislation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Handle highly sensitive and confidential material in a professional manner
• Open and inclusive mindset and a willingness to work in a team dynamic

Working Conditions

Fast-paced office environment
• Normal business hours, with occasional overtime required
• Hazardous materials are handled within the laboratory using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment
• Keen attention to detail is required
• Pro-active responsiveness to employee inquiries is required
