Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Staff, the On-Site Property Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the following duties are executed in accordance with good management practices and the policies and procedures established by the firm:

  • Conduct credit and landlord checks as per board policy
  • Keep units filled in a timely manner.
  • Complete income verification and rent calculations
  • Prepare lease
  • Maintain financial records on Quick Books
  • Control of rents arrears
  • Strive to achieve cost savings for the property
  • Prepare cheques for execution by signing officers
  • Make deposits and pay invoices in a timely manner
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Attend board meeting, prepare written reports, agenda and minutes for Board meetings and ensure all required information is distributed to Board Members prior to meeting
  • Compile the information for the annual audit and work with the auditor to complete the audit and all associated forms
  • Other duties as assigned and as appropriate to the position.

Qualifications:

  • Good computer skills.
  • Must be proficient on Word.
  • Quickbooks experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to work alone.
  • Must have police check upon hiring.
