Big Hearts Home Care is seeking an experienced scheduler to join our healthcare management team. As a Scheduler you will be supporting our operations in the Lower Mainland.

You will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive quality home care and healthcare services as we enrich the lives of clients within our community.


Duties and Responsibilities

The Scheduler will be responsible for the following:

  • Meet and communicate with new potential clients and family members
  • Manage and hire a team of passionate caregivers
  • Design and implement care plans
  • Liaise with hospital staff and community health workers
  • Develop strong referral relationships in the community
  • Develop and implement best business practices in collaboration with our team

Position Requirements

  • 2+years' experience in scheduling in the healthcare field
  • College/University diploma or degree in an arts or sciences field
  • Valid driver's license, access to a vehicle and comfortable driving throughout Vancouver
  • Available for odd shifts in the evenings, early mornings and weekends
  • Selfmanaged as well as love working in a team on fulfilling projects
  • Love bringing a positive customer service experience to clients
